After Giving It Your All

All that glitters is not gold.
You don’t know what they had to mold.

The years required to fold it.
Yet, they stuck to it.

They faced strife;
They had a hard life.

Sometimes they were fed up;
However, they didn’t give up.

They looked at their past;
They had run the race very fast.

They remembered that it’s not about the speed,
But rather about the need.

What is your aspiration?
What drives your vision?

Look inward and see;
Search your mind and be free.

Make a plan;
Look for a clan.

You need a tribe;
You don’t need to bribe.

The people who will make you glow.
The network that will make you blow.

Keep running your race.
Remember to go at your own pace.

You are your own competition.
Work to bring your dreams to fruition.

You can do it;
I can’t wait to see it.
