A Year Older!

Photo by on

A poem!

They say age is just a number;
They say age should not limit us.

Age is still very much present.
Age is a gift of life.

Age changes make me wonder.
Age allows us to ponder.

Am I ageing the way I should?
Am I living life as per my age standards?

If yes, am I an example?
If no, what could I do differently?

As a thirty-something year old, I have a past.
As a thirty-something year old, I also have a vision.

The past makes me a work in progress.
The vision keeps me alert.

I want to be different.
I want to make a difference.

Please teach me;
Please help me.

Don’t be a stranger;
Don’t be angry anymore.

We can all do better.
We can all grow together.
